Can you do crossed knit stitch, similar to this TSS
@NoorsKnits2 ай бұрын
Do you mean the stitch in knitting or the Tunisian crochet version? I have this tutorial as well that's sort of the knit version of this stitch, it's called the Left Twist Knit Stitch: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mH-pi2eca8uoa7csi=v9rc-DXV7EQ386O8

Can you use is as a blanket and how long does it last in the washer
@NoorsKnits3 ай бұрын
I'm sure you could do cross stitch for a blanket but maybe it would be a good idea to make a back panel or sew a backing to it to prevent the stitches from getting snagged. As for how long it would last in the washer, that depends on the type of yarn you use and whether or not you add a backing. I would say acrylic yarn would wash best and again having a backing would probably make it last longer. I hope that helps =)!

Hi Rose, I'm not sure you were able to see the i in the upper right hand corner of the video but when you click on it, you'll be able to go to the full tutorials for how to work up the stitches I shared. I have an entire playlist for how to do Tunisian crochet if you're interested. As for the sales pitch, that was a small portion of my entire Live video. Yes, I am an affiliate for several yarn/tools companies because that's how I earn an income, and it's how I'm able to share my designs/work for free for everyone 😊.

This is such a beautiful and simple stitch. Wondering how this stitch would be in making fingerless gloves? (Badly sprained my right wrist, so I'm stitch/pattern hunting for hopefully near future making. lol) Thank you for this tutorial. I always know I can refer back to your tutorials for a memory refresh. :)
@NoorsKnits10 ай бұрын
It really is, I need to incorporate it into more designs! Hopefully, I'll be releasing a fairly simple free pattern using this stitch! Oooh, it would probably look really nice for fingerless gloves! I hope you feel better!
Hi Noor! I had a vision of doing the stars in a contrasting color but I’m having a hard time figuring out how to execute it. I wanted to do a blue blanket with yellow stars against it for my son.
@NoorsKnits11 ай бұрын
Hi Sarah! That sounds like such a cute idea. Hmm, I'm thinking you would have to switch colors in the middle of the row right before you start the star stitch pattern? So for example in this video in Row 2 you would have to tss 3 in the main color (4 stitches in the main color), then switch and tss 5 in the contrast color, switch back to the main color and continue in this way completing the 5 stitches where the stars would be worked in the contrast color and then in the next row when you do tss 5 together, you would use the contrast color again. Here is another video I have for how to complete colorwork at the beginning, middle, and end of the row that might be helpful: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nZimkHl_gcqdb5osi=VmInTZ-DiV4p058H I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
@thatgaljill that's odd because it's clickable when I see it! I believe you can click on the actual shorts video at the bottom there's a play button I think which takes you to the tutorial.
