Per Bimmerpost i Forums "Pedestrian Warning Noise: very EASY TO TURN on and OFF. You can programme one of the "radio" buttons to be an on/off switch. Just select the pedestrian noise feature from the settings menu then hold down the radio button of your choice to programme it. Once done, that button then acts as your pedestrian noise on/off button - sorted!" Cheers

Why doesn't my 2013 x6 have adaptive LED headlights with this feature? I turned on the adaptive mode, and then only the far and near lights were automatically switched, and there was no anti-glare effect. Does anyone know why?

Thanks for pointing it out to have the headlight switch set on Auto , I had mines on the off position then turn to the right to turn on headlights , explains why I never saw the adaptive lights working , I have a 2016 640i .

This is a horrible annoyance. It's too loud. Pull the connector off the speaker to kill the sound. The connector inserts vertically - pull up to disconnect, down to connect. Pull it up just enough to disconnect it but push it back down slightly into the receptacle to contain it. The speaker is in the right front bottom of the front bumper cover. If you stick your head under that section of car you'll see small holes in the cover inside of which is the speaker. That'll help locate it from the top. Stick your hand down in there from the top with hood open and unlock the plug and pull it off.

@@cyrphilip it’s hidden behind some stuff but you can feel for it. Locate it mentally by looking under the bumper cover, right side. They holes simulating a speaker grill is where the speaker is. Then reach down from the top with hood open (I think you have to remove frunk container) and fish your hand to where the speaker should be. You’ll feel the top of speaker with harness plug on top of it. Familiarize yourself on how to unclip plugs. Unclip and pull up, off.

@@Arcemev it’s a speaker like any other speaker. 2 prong plug for a 2 wire connection.

Great video mate, are these lasers or just standard bmw adaptive led headlights? I believe only laser headlights shut off when it catches on-coming vehicles or do the adaptive headlights operate the same when high beam assist is activated

if we can code new fuel maps, modify emission systems, then im sure we can remove this bullshit too. would never drive with it. Sound is so important in driving and i dont know if there is any evidence that accidents happen because car doesnt make a lot of noise...

So annoying. I'm glad that it was easy to disable on my i3 with bimmercode. Luckily it's not required to have it enabled on a 2019 model in my country.

I don't mind the noise of the car unless there's something wrong with it that's what's making that noise because if you drive a lot you realize there are Dum Dums they don't use that I please get ears across the street
