I have flown on both their B777 and B787 cabins in J. I am probably in a minority, but with the door closed (and even open) it was so claustrophobic. I was in my little cell. Three walls and a window. I wanted to be free in a cabin. The multi-national crews were all superb. No weak links there. I did ask them if they had received some feedback like mine and always I found someone, when v gently pushed, who said they knew it was not for everyone. But for superb friendly and professional service, they have everyone else beat. i shall probably need to route back to the east via Doha later this year and I look forward to being on board. They are just the best.

Thank you for posting this! I literally returned my EV6 rental to Hertz this morning. The entire process from start to finish was a complete disaster!!!!! A normal trip from Houston to Dallas (240 miles) ended up costing me $200 in charging fees on top of the rental fees in addition with not being able to use the car for extended periods of time, due to charging time and station wait times (waited 1 hour just fir a stall) What a NIGHTMARE!

I had such a similar situation with American, that I am still so angry about. It was cancelled because of maintenance, I ended up sleeping in the airport. I was there over 24 hours, and after waiting in line for over 4 hours, the worker yelled at me for asking for a food voucher. I was left in tears. On your situation- don't the new rules for DOT say they have to put you on a competitor if they can't get you to your destination in the next 24 hours?

@@cruisinaltitude That was exactly it. I've worked customer service. I'm a big fan of the travel industry, just like you, and I know they had a LOT to deal with. I was more than nice, but he actually raised his voice and got nasty with me. It was beyond humiliating, and after all the stress of the day, no matter how hard I tried, my body was just determined to have those tears start flowing. I'm still upset by it. I was a mystery shopper for years, and I know to take opinions and emotions out of it--- but this has been too hard in this situation. What gets me the most is that you and I know, that if you actually take the time to help a customer out, how far that really goes. And had the Spirit lady showed compassion, and even blamed it on the company that her hands are tied, you would have at least felt listened to. Instead, that hard line of just not caring about the customer and the situation is what creates situations where patrons will decide to never use their services again.

It goes on the DO NOT FLY LIST. I had never flown on Spirit. My son bought me a ticket on Spirit and even the gate experience was horrible, the plane was at capacity & the seats felt cheap and unsafe. I had to say a prayer for safe travel and promise to never use Spirit again in order to keep my sanity.

What you saw being built is a pedestrian bridge that will be a direct connection between the train station and Terminal C. It should connect in Terminal C near the car rental counters and is supposed to open sometime in 2025.

You are lucky you got on this aircraft! The other B787-10 have the slightly older but still modern interior. This B787-10 A6-BMJ was delivered in 2023 and has the new Recaro 3710 seats which you can find on the new A350s and on Select B787-9 (A6-BNE, A6-BNF, A6-BNG) Im going on 2 B787-10 next week, lets hope I have a chance on riding on this one!!
