These birds literally sound like someone had a seizure or a dog and they literally sound like they’re calling for help from the bird ambulance

i wanted to check what sounds peacocks make because my mom claims they have "an ugly voice" so I just found out what sort of voice it is. It is ugly indeed - but peacocks are beautiful with a capital "b" :) Btw, in my native tongue, Polish, we have an interesting idiom for vomiting - it's "letting the peacock out" :)

What is up with dislikes ? Y'all don't know how to appreciate a beautiful voice.
I'm at a hotel rn and there's so much peacocks wondering around and suddenly making this sound, since I saw a monkey in the tree I thought the monkey was making the peacock sounds 😭🙏🏻

I once went to a zoo and heard this so ask someone what type of monkeys made that call, they said its the feral peacocks in the carpark 😂

Man this brings so many memories. My dad was in Air Force so I used to live in the Air Force campus( it was pretty big) with my family and spent most of childhood there. That campus had a lot of trees and forests so a large number of peacocks lived there and wandered in the whole campus and in the evening they made this noise. At that time it was pretty annoying but now it’s really nostalgic

I love our neighbor's peacock "Kevin" as my boyfriend calls him..."Ah-ah, ah-ah!" Startled the hell out of me the first time, but now I get so excited when I hear them! They're so beautiful!

Expect hearing this a lot in a zoo if said zoo has wandering peacocks.

My grandma was an airforce wife, and the first day she wrnt to the Philippines, she thought someone was being kidnapped, also housegirls are a common thing there, especially for the military, so when she asked one of the housegirls, they laughed and thought it was funny, and told her it was just one of the peacocks, my dad grew up in the Philippines and knows a bit of Tagalog, but they also speak a lot of English there.

This grass has to be cut twice a week or it's too hard to do but I don't want to live here if people are spraying me with bug spray from the Sterling city truck for just walking my dog and of course with GPS they did it intentionally. Why would I want to live here???@@!!!
