Do you know how to play as the DLC characters? Are they only availiable in Random Mode? I downloaded them off of Xbox Exhibition Volume. 2 but they are not there. The DLC levels are there though. And if so, how do I unlock random mode? Thank you.

At the introduction just before the menu when I press f1 the button works it passes the cinematic, but once on the menu when I press nothing happens

If you do not have a bluetooth keyboard connected: While in game, press the steam button and go to controller layout. then assign the back buttons to the corresponding button you need.

From the website: While on the menu, the following for different modes Cross Frenzy (F1): Frenetic four-player versus (or two-player co-op) with simultaneous 2v2 gameplay. Single Cross Frenzy (F2): Control two characters at the same time with one controller. Single-player only, try this out in Story Mode & Arcade Mode! Cross Fever (F3): Traditional MVCI gameplay with a twist - each character is controlled by a single player! Be sure though that once you are done with one of these modes, you quit the game and restart. Otherwise it glitches.

@@agentrevenge3370 it's pretty simple. Go into Desktop mode Download the mod Extract the mod Open up the base MvCI folder by opening up steam (still in desktop mode) and click on browse local files) Move the mod folder over to the MvCI folder so the files replace the base files. (Apply to all, write in) Once finished, go back into handheld mode. Open up the base MvCI logo and it should load MvCI&B. Go to settings and set display settings graphics to low for best results. Remember this is patch 1.0, so things won't be perfect.

I got mine to work by downloading the modded zip file directly from the mvcib website using my STEAM DECK desktop mode web browser and followed the installation instructions on the text file inside the unzipped folder. Took about 10 minutes total time, and that's including the downloading.

You have to go into Desktop mode, then follow the instructions at www.mvcib.com/ You'll want to set Graphics to low in display settings. It's a shader heavy game so understand there will be slowdowns like in the video.
