Classic example of doing a bit too much. Dude has an amazing version of this same song in which he teaches how to play it on guitar. Of course, my opinion only. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rp28p5h5f8Rkracsi=uDvmST3HOQxwbN_W

👻💀☠️😵 I rate this four zombies! Props to the sax player for the extra costume effort. Or maybe she dresses that way every day. Either way, 👍.

Mike Dowling reminds me of Les Paul. Both play(ed) with grace, taste and seemingly effortlessly. I was fortunate to take lessons from him at his home in Dubois, Wyoming a few years ago,. In addition, he performed at our Diablo House Concert series several times. The late Steve James said of Mike "He is a musician's musician." If I were to record a record, I'd want Mike playing on and producing it. One of America's best.

Nice to make your acquaintance, sir. really a joyful rendition, and I appreciate the tribute to Leadbelly, one of the foundational artists in my appreciation of American music, race relations, and political history. As I lived in DC for quite a long time, his "Bourgeois Blues" is still a thing. 4-11-2024. I was the 577th like of your work, thank you kindly for sharing your fine playing with us.
