Wow, what an amazing display of talent and dedication! The power and precision of the pipes and drums were incredible, and you could feel the heart and soul in every note. It's performances like this that truly showcase the beauty and tradition of bagpipe music. Keep up the fantastic work-you all are an inspiration!

That MSR is unusual from start to finish….not only difficult, but having key note combinations i have not heard or played in other tunes and thus would require a lot of work to nail down. The cuts in the reel are beyond scary. And that final set is in a class by itself for speed without yielding timing slackness. I don’t need the names of these tunes, i first need his hyper fast muscle tissue.

Not sure how I haven't commented on this before, but this was such a great, heartfelt performance. It is often hard to read the emotions of a piper given the demands of the instrument, but on the night, you could definitely see them in the eyes of the performers saying goodbye to their friend.

I studied under Alasdair at a Balmoral School of Piping at Thomas Moore College in 2003 if I recall correctly. He was excellent and even saved me from a lashing from J. Reid Maxwell, which is another story entirely. Alasdair will always remain one of my greatest instructors, regardless of discipline for reaching someone regardless of HIS skill level. So many instructors are cursed with the "Knowledge" in my experience, civilian, military, or academic levels. Alsadair was one who could always reach anyone, regardless of ability. O' My Darlin Flo I love you so Especially in the morning! ...Here in Wadi Akarit! Thanks Stuart. You are gem and I'm sure Alasdair would have been one of your fiercest competitors.
