He was probably my best friend from 6-8th grade. Such a good guy and interesting. A really good athlete. Troubled but he kept control of it. I thought he had an amazing mom. Dad was successful but maybe there was some issues there. A really good guy and super interesting and complicated. He was definitely thirsty for more than the average person. Hope he’s OK. I’ll never forget the summer surfing in Santa Cruz, CA and the super cool black and white surfboard he got. His dad would drive us the few hours it took to get to the coast from the Bay Area.

I know I totally agree. The war of art is a masterpiece totally missed in the mainstream though for some reason. The members didn’t do too well after the release a few deaths and lots of drugs. Very sad really. If this had been released five years earlier, it would’ve been enormous, but not good after 9/11 and the general moved to pop punk from Metal
