What I loved most was the show dealt with simple human problems when every other show was either action or quick laughs. You could see people being killed in a movie left and right and it doesn’t do anything to you but when a young girl is torn apart because the guy she’s got a crush on doesn’t seem to like her and in the end he really did but was just to shy to say it that brings tears to your eyes because you can relate to it.

It's nice to go back and visit everyone's childhood home away from home. Everyone either wanted to be charles Ingalls or have him as their real father. It's wonderful to see the values taught in LHOTP reflected in people's real lives. I hope Michael Landon knew how many people he so deeply touched and affected with little house and highway to heaven. He tried his hardest to make it about the good in humanity. He's sorely missed.
