I remember that when I played the Japanese version, in 1998, I only completed the first mode, and there was a cut scene of Aya right after she defeated the ultimate form of the ultimate being, where she makes a scared face and runs away from him, then starts to final chase. But I noticed that in the opening, there are two cut scenes, this one 0:48 and this one 1:44 , This one is clearly not Aya for me, the hair is a different color, it's a darker yellow, I think it's Maya. Thats cut scenes don't appear in the American version, and I've never found a Japanese version to see if they have them. Has anyone seen them?

Hello from 2024! Amazing! I played MediEvil 2 as a kid and replayed it on a simulator for PSX (ePSXe) in the 2010s, and I just got a desire to re-view this scene, but never expected to see it this enhanced. Thank you very much, bro. 🥰

This was the early 1990s, "Wheel of Fortune" was on TV (country specific version of it), and my very first idea was do create words with the cans. This remark "There is more about the cans than meets the eye." was very misleading imho. They should have rather given some clue about what the hell you were supposed to write. Soooo frustrating. " SPRYLY TRYST" is something a non-native english speaker would likely NEVER find out on their own, i had to look up the words in a dictionary, because they were unknown and still did not knew the meaning of the sentence.

1:41 if you hug the wall when you fall to the floor and get back to the ramp, you’ll never fight the dark reaper at all in this room. At 2:14 the dark reaper will always spawn in the middle of the room when we leave the first portrait, and will still be a problem even if you turn the lights on and search for the spirits. Morel of the story, never go in the middle of the room at any point, even while the lights are on, and you won’t fight him.

When the game came out, I didn't get around to playing it, but my friend did. He was a real Titanic buff for some reason. He later told me of a bad ending scene where you can see a guy drowning, floating by a window. I always imagined the scene to be terrifying, like you could see him still alive, banging against the window pleading for help or something. I don't know why. So seeing the scene now at 6:17 is a little weird. But at least that mystery is solved now, over two decades later.

I’ll tell you how the gargoyles appeared when the lights are off. First, 0:39. When you walk to one end of the room, nothing happens. But at 1:29, while you fought the knights, the gargoyle spawned at the side of the room you were just in. Same thing will happen when you go to the other side of the room, another gargoyle will spawn right where you are. Like what happened at 7:37. These spawn rules still apply even when the lights are on, same thing happens in the Sitting Room.
