Typology in Judges 9 [Judges 9:48 KJV] And Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that [were] with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it, and laid [it] on his shoulder, and said unto the people that [were] with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, [and] do as I [have done]. Zalmon means shadow perhaps relating the context as a shadow of Jesus Christ and the gospel. And Shechem means shoulder. Jesus said: [Luke 9:23 KJV] And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. [Judges 9:28 KJV] And Gaal the son of Ebed said, Who [is] Abimelech, and who [is] Shechem, that we should serve him? [is] not [he] the son of Jerubbaal? and Zebul his officer? serve the men of Hamor the father of Shechem: for why should we serve him? Gaal means to loathe and Ebed means servant whereas Hamor means ass or donkey. The back of the donkey is cross-shaped. thebiblewheel.blogspot.com/2024/05/typology-in-judges-9.html

Amen,, This verse has blessed me I have understood that I should not put confidence in anything that I go through whether bad or good or any man. But I should fully trust in God because in all the situations He is with me

The harlot, it's the holy city Rev. 11:2; the great city, Rev. 14:8, Rev. 16:19, Rev. 17:18, Rev. 18:10, 16, 18-19, 21; the city where the Lord was crucified, Rev. 11:8. It is the Old Jerusalem, because the New Jerusalem becomes the holy city, Rev. 21:2-3; the great city, Rev. 21:9-11, once the Old Jerusalem (Babylon), has been destroyed, Rev. 17-15-18, Rev. 19:1-5, 6-9. The Old Jerusalem is a harlot city, a fornicator, Rev. 17:1-2, Rev. 18:2-3; an adulterous spouse of God, Rev. 18:7, "I am no widow," I have a husband and he is still living. The punishment for adultery was death, Leviticus 20:10-12, Jeremiah 3, Ezekiel 16, Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28, Matthew 21:33-44, Matt. 22:1-14, Matthew 23:29-39, Luke 21:23. After the harlot is executed, the Bride of Christ, New Jerusalem, Rev. 21:2-3, Rev. 21:9-11, takes her place at the marriage supper of the Lamb, Rev. 19:7-9. The beloved city, Bride of Christ, New Jerusalem is protected by Christ when he does battle for her at the end of all things, and finally destroys Satan at the Last Day, Rev. 19:7-10, especially verse 9. Then the judgement, and eternity, Rev. 20:11-15, 21:1.

I totally love Leviticus. I have read it multiple times but this time it was joyful. Its laws we must obey.

I so appreciate your gentleness when you speak. I’ve been in chronic pain for 12 years. It’s non-stop and very hard to read or concentrate at times. I was saved at 8 years old and am 58 now. It’s 5-2-2024 when posting this. I am pretty much a shut in. It’s also harder now to find people faithfully teaching the Bible. I’m thankful that the Lord let me find your videos. Please pray for me. I pray for others because the Lord has arranged my life so that I can. I’m not able to do much physically. The Lord Jesus Christ bless and keep all of you.

Thank you Pastor Jack! My life and Soul have been saved!!!!!!! Through you and Jesus!!! I'd never have known about salvation or my Savior without your good kind work! I've been going to you for the Word for over 20 years!!! My heart smashed into a million pieces over a year ago when my oldest Daughter Jerralyn, who was in the Joy Bells for several years, suddenly tragically died. I know the Lord took her home because she also received instruction about what is written in all of our hearts. I love you, Pastor Doug, the M.S. Family and Morningstar

Hi Jill, It is nice to hear from you again, and thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I do remember when you commented about your daughter some time back, and I was praying for you and her at the time of the accident. I am glad you have the blessed assurance of knowing that Jerralyn is with Jesus now, and I pray for the Lord's continued comfort and peace in your life. I have forwarded your comment on to Pastor Jack. -- Pastor Jeff
