The hood has been repainted (poorly) and the body panel gaps are atrocious!!

Gentlemen, unless this car has some aftermarket upgrades, the factory block never reached 500 hp.

A '99 with the 2.2 was my first truck. Wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's ass but it was reliable and cheap to drive.

My dad had a light silver blue 1976 Pontiac Grand Prix. It was the perfect road trip car, and every summer, we spent a month driving across Canada in it. Good times. Fond childhood memories

I owned one, a 1970 Machine in the early 70's. Mine was a midnight blue with the flat black hood, white vinyl roof. It had Mickey Thompson 60 series tires all around, automatic transmission with the 390 4 bbl carb. Power steering / Power brakes. It would only run on "high test" gasoline as regular gas would not work, it would ping and knock and the gas pedal would be soft!! It was the only one around here and I could not hide..I highly regret trading that in, in hindsight, I should have kept it ! Young and dumb!

That makes me curious…wouldn’t the tr 250 be way better to drive?
@markcook357021 күн бұрын
@@simonstuhl4170 I don’t know mine has been modified with suspension tricks and some drivetrain modifications however I’ve never driven one of those Datsuns to make the comparison but even back then Japanese engineering and craftsmanship was way ahead of most

@@markcook3570 I really like that tr250. I had an opportunity to get one many years ago and didn’t. Great design beats the tr6 by far. Enjoy.

I had this in white, no sunroof. A widow had it for sale. Still had the dealer sticker and receipts. 70k had AR rims and fatty tires on the rear. Air bags. I personally had it up to 105 maybe 110…felt like 40. Radio DJ Funkmaster Flex had a 79 Olds 98 on his album cover too.

The Mark III is drop dead gorgeous WITHOUT the Vinyl roof. The lines of the car really pop without out. Only in model year 1969 was there a vinyl roof delete option. I love this car other than the super wide whitewalls which look tacky.

Not a sbc, its an olds 394 look at the exhaust on the heads and the valley plate under the intake manifold and the valve cover bolts its an olds 394 like most gasser rods used in the late 50s n early 60s

Valve covers are for small block Chevy . Cause the engine is a SBC not Olds at all . Lame . Memphis Dan LeLoLai
