is a song celebrating rebellion against societal norms and expectations. The song encourages listeners to break free from the constraints of society and live life on their own terms. The lyrics suggest a desire for adventure and the rejection of conformity, as the narrator embraces a life as a "renegade," free from the constraints of society. The song opens with an invitation to "run away" and be "lost souls in revelry," suggesting a desire to escape the monotony of everyday life and rebel against societal norms. The chorus reinforces this theme, with the repeated line "livin' like we're renegades" serving as an anthem for those who reject society's expectations. The second verse emphasizes the importance of pioneers, rebels, and mutineers, suggesting that those who challenge the status quo are the ones who drive progress and bring about change. The song also pays tribute to underdogs, new kids, and outlaws, suggesting that those who are marginalized by society may be the ones who ultimately make the greatest impact. The final verse emphasizes the idea that it is "our time" to make a move and break the rules. It suggests that now is the time for individuals to embrace their true selves and reject conformity in order to make a difference in the world. Overall, "Renegades" is a song that celebrates individualism and encourages listeners to embrace their true selves and reject societal norms and expectations.

au where firepaw gray paw and ravenpaw run away and create a makeshift clan of wanderers, adopting yellowfang and windclan and rehabilitating a good portion of blood clan, scourge is still a type of villain who is chaotic neutral kills tigerstar but sees himself in ravenpaw and assigns himself to ravenpaw as what bone was to him(scourge) when he entered the city and ravenpaw being himself, eventually rejects the ideas of

revenge being strength, he grows as he learns to balance fighting for himself and others between pacifism graystripe THRIVES as a wanderer and isnt made to choose between romantic/platonic/familial love and families tallstar has his moments of feeling at home, gathers courage because yes firepaw but because he remembers that spark of youth and how much he learned from his time with Jake, Jake helped him understand how much his clan means to him. tallstar and a good portion of windclan get their land back going home but many also stay as wanderers

fire alone will save this clan well what if we take forest fires into account? many species of trees need to be burned down for their seeds to grow, it helps fertilize the soil it brings a fresh start what if the clans barriers are burned down for reform a fresh start to the inbreeding problem, more allies and less fights I like to think of the wanderers as being like traveling medicine cats trained for battle, they are willing to help everyone just like firestar and therefore are also something of a mediators group, a fresh pair of eyes

hell let's make gray stripe a damn traveling nursery dad, helps out clans having trouble with pregnancy and kits having trouble developmentally, teaching his own kits these things or just having them make friends with other kits and learning new clan cultures

you could argue gray was a bad father and mentor but I whole heartedly agree with those who believe it's grief based at such a young age, helping mothers not follow the fate of silver stream could be very helpful for his feelings of helplessness

I would like to think they either reside in the four trees area OR barley cheekily calles them barn clan since they make excuses to help out with the rat infestation (also because barley and raven are just.. they're soulmates let them be happy in "domestic" feral cat bliss
