Hi! For your next series of videos, can you do instructional videos of basic drill movements in JROTC such as attention, parade rest (front and rear views), at ease, stand at ease, hand salute, facing movements, etc. if you can do this, can you record your demonstrator from full body length so we can see what happens in each position (or angle of each position like the rear view in parade rest and the facing movements) from full length. Also do you think that you can use a single female demonstrator as I feel like most other videos use men and it kind of undermines women’s presence and sacrifice in the military. If you do a series, can you start with the two basic positions (attention and parade rest) and move down the line? Thank you for hearing me out!

Exhibition drill (if you are unaware of JROTC drill team competitions) is something outside the normal means of marching, hence why the act like fish

In the early 1970s, all our drill meets were held outdoors, except for one at Fort Knox, Kentucky which was held in an arena with a concrete floor (1972). I can't identify the weapons in this video; however, we used Garand M-1 rifles in 1971 and M-14 rifles in 1972 and 1973. (Nowadays there's a very great opposition to "guns in schools" and most of the units have fake rifles or Springfield rifles with the bolts welded shut.)
