I am confused with the word "neighbor". It has "igh" but it sounds like "nay-buh". Could you explain it to me, please? thank you so much for your videos.

@@waingyumaw91 the /igh/ is normally an alternative spelling for /ie/ - there are a few. However, in that word (neighbor), it's a tricky word, using non standard sounds. Confusing I know. The "uh" part is called the schwa sound. Very common sound, not taught in early Phonics stages

With that mix of abilities in one room I would recommend choosing a strong coursebook with a healthy amount of CLT activities - look to my videos for a lecture on CLT teaching (communicative language teaching)
