Too bad the sound production is so bad... They went for something old school and muffled, but it's disappointing. I felt like Nécrovortex has the perfect balance of old school sound while still being audible. But Abysse Mortifère goes too far, you can barely hear the riffs, they're not cutting through the mix as they should, same with the drums. Everything seems far away and lacks impact. Hope they correct it for the next album, or find a way to remaster this one. Coz as is, it's quite difficult to enjoy...

The guy who shot this is my friend, we went up to Montreal together; I went to attend the show, and he had no interest in metal whatsoever but came as well and agreed to film the show for a friend of mine. He just wanted to go to a particular ice cream shop the day after, haha. Good times.
