I know it’s sold, but-why asking so high? I seen one just like this for $162K, there’s no problems with it, it’s all fairly upgraded, etc. I imagine the engines must be fancy and brand new, cause????

These are still boat owners not sellers. I am amazed that in the USA anyone would pay $260k or anywhere close for an almost 20 year old boat. It would be almost 2/3rds less in the Caribbean.
@Trawler_mark27 күн бұрын
Andrew, thanks for your comment. Are you in the market for a 2007 Endeavour Trawler Cat?What would you say it is worth? Can you site your sources for how you came to this conclusion? Our pricing is based upon market trends, market demands, comparable listings that are currently for sale, and also comparable vessels that have sold in the last year.
@andrewbond955427 күн бұрын
@Trawler_mark nope not in the market. Just purchased in June. 42 ft in the BVI, most dealers in the USA wanted $200k for what I purchased at $110k. It was purely a comment on the US market and how buyers should be better educated. I totally understand how you arrived at that price.

Kinda mandatory to take the trim off those bulkheads and show your buyers their state. Parlay has changed the game for all Lagoon 450 sales

Thanks so much for the feedback! These bulkheads were reinforced in February 2022. Check out the full listing here --> bluewatercruisingboats.com/boat-listing/2012-lagoon-450-f/

Interesting that there was no mention of the bulkheads being repaired/reinforced. It is well known that these lagoon catamarans have serious issues with their bulkheads and more. So we should assume that the needed repairs have not been done.

You are correct that we forgot to mention it in the video. But if you take a look at our full listing, you will see that they were reinforced in February 2022. Check out the full listing here --> bluewatercruisingboats.com/boat-listing/2012-lagoon-450-f/ Thanks for watching!

That is one resilient family!!! I love the refreshing take on the true complexites of being a liveaboard cruiser. KZbin often sells a "dream" and i love it from an entertainment standpoint, but hearing real stories like this one definitely helps bring back some perspective.

I love the balance they are able to achieve. Often the idea of selling it all to go makes it an impossible decision to make. Blending both work and boat life in this way definitely makes the dream feel more achievable! Thanks for sharing your story!!! 💙🌊⛵

Probably all electrical components , cables can get corroded which can increase resistance and temperature . Can later cause intermittent issues . Electronics probably very outdated too, that includes plotters gps which would have outdated maps

The person who cut all the panels did an awful job, even without zooming in you can see that so much has jagged edges, and you can see the warping of the floor from subpanels and braces. It looks like a major repair/overhaul was done by someone who didn't know what they were doing, how to use a tape measure or basic power tools or even a square which is ironic considering the emphasis on having a work area. My concern with this vessel is that if the area which is normally going to impress a family into purchasing the vessel (which is normally in better appearance than the hull) is this bad then I would HIGHLY suspicious of the parts of the vessel you cannot see. All that said, it looks like it could be one of the best looking boats I've ever seen.

I dont mean to be an ahole... im happy he got his life from cancer etc etc... It's just a comment. When a person lives on 48 ft catamaran, which is an impossible feat for 99.9% of the world population and complains about it,.... it doesn't fall well with most. I wish i could have a catamaran but ill be luck to get a monohull and will have to put it to work to maintain the lifestyle.... so it sounds like.... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 boohoo I have to live on 48 ft Luxury catamaran, buaaa

I've sailed with Amy and Jack on their catamaran past NYC and they have sailed with me on my monohull on Lake Michigan. They are exactly as they appear. They've endured all the issues new boat owners and cruisers experience and survived. This conversation reiterates my motto: life is not a dress rehearsal. You get one take.

Thank you, thats one of the best videos for people either at the start of their journey like us or wanting to make the step. We are currently sitting in a boatyard in Alges, Portugal having our anchor repaired after I misjudged the current entering a narrow entrance at Oeiras Marina. We have both had doubts and this video was brilliant and has help us greatly.
