It’s funny you said it’s not voodoo, but it has the same equivalent. I’ve done this several times and the ritual part is demonic and will attract evil spirits. I know this seems like something pure and spiritual but so is yoga. the people who performing the rituals are not doing it out of ill intent at the end of the day it’s just their job But if you believe in Christ, please stay far away from this stuff. You can enjoy a Temescal without the ritual part. Just enjoy the steam volcanic rocks.

How crazy…A Mayan culture being spoken in Spanish and then translated into English.

They did not show the "worm caves". I don't know why. Little children can easily go into those small caves.

Guys its just a suana. You can get the the same experience in a suana. The ritual is just psychological. But hey to each their own.

We use donkeys as predator control on Texas ranches, they are very devoted to protecting the animals they live with, especially against coyotes

i just came here after seeing a donkey get shredded by a slow moving train..The train was honking for nearly 30 seconds and that donkey stood in the middle of the track just looking at the train...They are very slow in the mental department.

I always wanted to travel to Mexico but i was afraid i would make a fool of myself if i didn't speak the language properly. Im trying to learn to use a few words I caught from the retail with other amazing workers who speak Spanish.

Walked past a house last year that had a donkey. They owners were pulling in the driveway and the donkey was losing his mind with joy. He was so loud and excited.

You kind of lost me right away when you say you're going to conquer your 20 minute walk. The point of any outing shouldn't be to "conquer". It's such a blessing to stand on any highpoint, short walk or otherwise.

I would imagine Mayans were probably cutting trees for constructing a shelter or something like that and notice the sap. I'm sure they tried eating and drinking most everything around them. Probably also tried cooking and boiling most things. Trial and error just eventually leads to these discoveries.

What I find funny... Atheist love this type of stuff. They shun God, yet they still want spiritually. It's spiritual hypocrisy, no matter which way you slice it.
