Can we get KC back? Not a stellar year but we got some size coming on the line and more to come from the portal. I hate seeing starters go, I understand if someone feels like they aren’t getting their chance to show. This duo could be something

Wow! Loving KC Concepcion's mentality. If everyone approaches next week's game against Tennessee with the same concepts as KC, we have a tremendous shot at winning.
@bobfunck67494 ай бұрын
Dave, we are tired of your teams not being ready for the first couple of games EVERY YEAR! You need to seriously analyze how you conduct your fall camps. And OLine? Weak. Just plain weak. They couldn't convert on 4th and 1 against an FCS TEAM???!!! A team with 20 less scholarship players?!! How much money do we have to pay for you to have an OL that can run block? that can impose their will, AT LEAST AGAINST AN FCS TEAM!!! We are a 7-8 win team. Why? because we ONCE AGAIN CANNOT RUN THE FOOTBALL!!! You can't employ play action with no run game!!! How many pounds on average did we have compared to their D Line? Answer: A LOT!!! And still cant get a push. Whenever RBs got yards, they had to fight individually for EVERY INCH. They got no help from the blockers. I hope the OL is ashamed of their play.... but at this point can we really expect them to flip a switch and become tougher, stronger, meaner, and better run blockers, when we haven't been able to run block for what? 6 years? cmon man. No more hype, this is reality. I guess I should be grateful that we have a solid winning program, 8 wins every year. I was just thinking an ACC Championship in football would have been nice before I die. Oh well.
@jclemons1213844 ай бұрын
They're fine. Tennessee is gonna kill us, but other than that, the conference is still wide open, and that's the goal.
@JamesThomas-dz4vj4 ай бұрын
Very well said. I've been saying for years that Doeren is an average coach on his VERY BEST day. Never had a 10-win season, never appeared in an ACC title game, and precious few wins in "big games". The team is unprepared to play out of the gate once again, which is a reflection of poor coaching. If your goal is to win 8 or 9 games a year and to play in some meaningless bowl game that literally no one cares about (and all of the best players rightfully choose to skip), then Doeren is your guy. However, now that the playoff has expanded to 12 teams, a trip to the CFP is more attainable than ever. But it will not happen with Doeren at the helm. The Athletic Director just has to decide what the ultimate goal is - from there, we can either make the necessary changes or continue to witness the same thing year after year.
@JamesThomas-dz4vj4 ай бұрын
@@jclemons121384 No, the goal is to win every game. Of course, no team is perfect. But it's never okay to have the outlook that only "winning the conference" is the goal. Aim for more large-scale respect for the program than that. We will not take the next step toward greatness until we hold OURSELVES to a higher standard than just simply accepting mediocrity.

We have literally have one 10 win season in our programs HISTORY. Be patient. A lot of teams struggled this weekend that shouldn't have, it's why you play the game this could potentially be a 10 win team, and if they put all the pieces together, 12-0 is a real possibility. Just be patient guys
@JamesThomas-dz4vj4 ай бұрын
@@Wwf1997 "Be patient" is okay to talk about if a coach is in year 1 or year 2. But in year 12, it's clearly a coaching issue. Every program has roster overhauls every year in this new NIL/transfer portal era. The upper-tier programs don't have to talk about "starting slow" - they just take care of business. And ANYONE who thinks 12-0 is a possibility for a program that has only ever reached 10 wins in a season once is delusional. I love the Pack, but I've seen enough for more than a decade to know better than to have sky-high hopes.

Great effort from Western Carolina! Really need my car to play a whole lot better and I think he will. Receivers looked awesome. Tight end amazing. Defense has to get tougher and be in the right spot. Definitely miss Peyton already.
