This was most helpful thank you. For someone thats not an engineer this was easy for me to comprehend unlike some other videos they explain things that makes no sense or wanna use a bunch of plug-ins. A lot can be accomplished just by adjusting the gain, it can really clean up a mix to make it easier for the next guy to mix/master it.

I was so relieved when I watched this video . I needed to get the version from yesterday. But I had worked on it today about seven times before closing the project . then I went into the project and it doesn’t have any of the backups from yesterday… Is there a way to go in deeper and find the backups from yesterday even if they’re not displayed and Ableton when I drop down the window for the project?

I almost guarantee it has something to do with rosetta that is causing the problems when it comes to streaming on twitch. Apple will probably end rosetta support after M4 though I'm willing to bet.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not sure how the ppl at Ableton consider that "consolidating". It's more like extracting.

47:30 - literally the first idea I had when I heard about the similar sounds thing! Been using ultimate vocal remover to stem out drums and then use those stems to search for similar sounds. or you Also can use shaper box to extract drums from songs since usually things are sidechained so there's usually enough of the dum to use for the "similar sounds" search.
