I don’t know what coilovers to buy , I’m stuck between REV9 and TRUHART

So you’ve owned more than one set of ttuharts if these are brand new & you’re already reviewing them

I just installed mine the other day, it was hella bouncy was not satisfied

I just got a 95 black SI right across the river into ohio.

Jensen was bought out by "Dual" a little over a year ago, so the "guts" of the amps are the Dual design and components now. Dual is a German company (amps still made in China), and I always thought the "King" of budget amp manufacturers always making their rated power and sounded pretty good too. Low distortion/ with high "S/N dB number" in the 90's. But, they wanted the Jensen name for marketing purposes and use the Jensen cover for the amps. So what I am saying the Jensen amps of today should be even better than 3 years ago. Dual amps are now under the Jensen brand name. And yes worthy of your $$, even from Wally World.

Your wires are touching

As rare as the si hatch has become….this hatch was screwed when you got it. The holes for the moldings were shaved. Makes my hatch more valuable now lol

I just installed and returned a XDA94RB because even without the engine running, the amp had a Whine in each speaker. When I turned on the engine, it got REALLY bad. And I know it was the Jensen Amp because I have another pioneer amp that I am using and it had NO noise whatsoever. And the Jensen was using the same battery feed and the same ground as the pioneer amp. yet, only the Jensen is acting up. And its SO SAD because I really Liked that little amp, Lots of Power, and a Built in EQ and Class D and bridgable and an APP that allows for customizations. What a PITTY! it made an old fashion humming noise even with the engine OFF.. Something else, when I turned the key on, It made a noise coming through the speakers... and when I turned the key off, the made a thud/popping noise.. So it went back to walmart and FAST

Bet you ya ran the RCA cable next to the power wire and it will pick up that noise almost every time. Run the patch cord as far away from the remote and power wire as possible preferably on one side and the power on the other side of the car

That Power ackoustic makes power, I would've went with it, I've had one for a year now and it still works great, comes with a bass know and it's a mono block

Bro for the last year i have run the jensen amps the xda91rb and the xda92rb and yes i absolutely agree im ru ning infinity refrence 6in and 4 scosh 6x9s and on the low side 2 kicker comp R 12s in a ported box of my own building and maan it gets to slappin

How are these treating you nowadays, can we get an update

A friend of mine gave me one of these the other day. I have a 8in sundown u series in a custom ported box tuned to 35hz and recently bought the 2500 power acoustic a week ago. Tomorrow Jensen going to hook up the Jensen if it sounds better Ima just take the other back to Walmart.

What do you mean Jensen is a well known name brand not a off brand Jensen been out for almost 90 years we use to run Jensen back in the 80s ok Walmart sells kicker speakers does that mean kicker Is a Walmart brand same as pioneer just saying all these brands are well known brand name stuff just because Walmart sells it doesn't automatically mean it's a off brand Walmart brand need to do research before saying it's a Walmart brand

That old mtx amp does 2k RMS it's way more powerful than that Jensen amp I'd keep that mtx have it freshened up those amps go for 300 used

Bro you're plain and simple running your power and RCA's to close together either down the side of the car or too close together somewhere that's why you're getting the whine

I only have CAI and Catback exhaust on my 9th gen si ,the closest tune to that in flashpro is CAI ,RBC Intake,Cat delete, catback exhaust I’m just curious if I can choose that without messing things up or just go with stock Hondata reflash

Just got this amp and it has so much distortion I am not sure how to fix it

Could i run a skar 10 inch 600rms subwoofer to this at 1 ohm? With out any problems?

That interference could be improper tuning or an rca bunched up too much

They made those terminator boxes a lot better than I expected, those setups were stupid cheap a couple years ago

I'm Running that 2,500 watt amp with the power acousitk gothic 12 for two years now. I have changed cars 5 times now still sounds the same as the day i bought it , fyi the dude from Walmart probably had the gain and the low pass to high and that's why it burnt up. Those amps don't like it when its not set properly.

I love that amp. And that Kenwood KFC-w120DVC Concert Series Sub 50oz double stack magnet 250w RMS 250w & Peak 1000w 12" is one of my favorite subs as well. If you put that Sub in an old school MTX Single Reflex Bandpass Box with that at 1200w Jensen amp ran at 2 ohm's & you change the 2 25a fuses for 2 40a fuses= It's Heavenly & it pounds Perfectly. :)

I have one on 2 12” kickers 500rms each wired at 2ohm probably only getting 400 to 450 rms to both subs so way under powered but it really sounds good had it for about 2 years no problems Now I plan to do 4 Skar SDR18D2 4 Skar FSX65 4 Skar VX175-ST 4 Jensen XDA91RB 2 Jensen XDA94RB

That amp sucks barly moves 2 l7 kickers

If you're using a drill you should only get it close to the end of where the screw is tight and do the actual last few turns by hand

Pre drilling the holes on those cheap boxes big big no no!! If you ever pull that woofer for any reason those holes will never tighten again wouldn't be surprised if they strip from the start

You are hearing noise because you are supposed to run your rca wires on the opposite side from your power wires. The alternator is what you are getting feedback from

Why didn't you ground the rca from amp? That mtx is a thousand times better then Jensen, from sound quality to performance

Obviously you do not know anything about name brands because it has nothing to do with Walmart Jensen “is” a reputable name brand youngin

Why did you downgrade your setup

You get car noise for multiple reasons. First always run your rca's on opposite side of car from power wires, and speaker wires. ( run the rca's ) by them selves and use a ground loop isolater . Doing this I only had a problem when I had to clean up all my connections. FYI properly matched amp and speakers sealed boxes are better than ported plus the make your speakers Last longer
