It's the geographic HALFWAY POINT, or N.AMERICA, but NOT the U.S. The geographic center would be in N. Kansas... and "geographical" isn't a word.

@Wickedstickyflowers This is because the owner of the property who, while he allows access to the site, does not want the location improved. And that I can totally respect. And this is why the monument was put in Belle Fouche, as it was the closest town to the actual center.

Hello Croatia! In this case I was using a Minelab GPX 4800. I have an old Deus XP but it would now have found this bullet as it was so deep!
