What makes the farmmac top of the line compared to the neotech. I've got the black version farmmac f660. I really like it. Wanting Get another one and i'm also considering the f380. But i've been looking at the neotech brandEd also. I see you have the woodland mills hm122. I've got the hm126 with extension. I started watching your videos because you had the Norwood pm14 that I've been looking at. Well I've ordered the Norwood pm14. So I will have both. I like it because I can throw it on the top of my Suzuki tracker and go back into areas and I can't get my mill and makes it easier for me too.Get my stuff of milled up. I really wanted to get the logosol and I may down the road. Thanks mark

You mentioned running it rich at 2 turns out. Wouldn't it be the same idea if you just set it at 1-1/4 in the instructions, but run a 25:1 mix for the first few tanks during break in? Also, is there a specific NS872 aftermarket muffler you recommend over the stock for better performance, without doing any mods?

At 6:30, I've never understood why people thinks it's a good idea to start your saw with the chain break on. Years ago, saws never even had them. They were only added as a kickback safety feature, and not really meant for starting the saw. Logic is that the chain break makes it safer when starting, but reality is that it will wear the clutch down. If you can't prevent from cutting your leg off when starting it, then you probably shouldn't be using a chainsaw.

All that money spent on the rails and the saw, even if it’s a clone and you could have bought a bandsaw mill and spent prolly less money and 1/20 the time per log to cut

We also have several bandsaws. This typically goes into remote locations. bandsaws can't go! Also in regards to price... this unit saw and all runs about $1,500! That's half of the cheapest bandsaw on the market! So, if you only used it a few times a rear or needed lumber in remote parts of the mountains (which is why we typically use it), this would be a much smarter pick for certain applications!

I put a ported 52mm big bore after market cylinder with a pop up piston and custom pipe on my 460... lt rips. I would put it against my 500i any day.

I do have a question about my Neotec NS872 (MS381 clone). Mine came with a decomp plug, which I may install since I don't seem to have trouble starting it. Of course it's new, so the rings probably aren't fully seated yet. So, my question is... Can I install a cylinder kit on the NS872 for an 038/MS380 which doesn't even have the decomp valve? I ask because I've heard the lack of that machined decomp hole actually runs better and lasts longer. Albeit harder to start.

Yes, you can install the cylinder, no problem! The top cover bolts into the cylinder in slightly different places! So if you use the 038 top end you have to skip that bolt. Most pars interchange except the top ends! Fuel tanks, bottom ends on chain tensioner side. Most part numbers for the ms380/381 and 038 interchange. The 382 doesn't at all

The older 038 cylinders have best oem stock numbers for port work! I build and port the carbon fiber f380s from new saws! Completely tore down and rebuilt and ported! Oem gaskets, bearings! Full wrap handlebar 6 month warranty

I just got a new neotec NS872 (MS380 clone). Started right up, and seems like a very good saw for the $220 price tag (with $80 coupon). Would you recommend a New West or proline dual port muffler to ge a little more out of it?

Yes, it's the exact same size! It's a clone of the 660! All parts for the ms660 and bars fit this saw! Bar mount (DO25) in all sizes from 20in to 52in bars!
