Notes for self:- BRN (Big round number) will work as resistance if price is extended. No setup no entry. Price cycle is ahed or earning cycle mostly. Sometimes there could be earning surprises. Look for set instead of jumping to buy at anytime. Pull back or cup and handle would be in 3 parts Price going down with momentum, sideways with less momentum and price going up with momentum. Try to get in during price going up with momentum at first pocket pivot. Pocket pivot - early cheat entry where its big green candle post small consolidation, volume is higher than previous 10 days red bar. No resistance near before 2R. 12-8-4 or 8-12-4 % position size on way up Red volume should be low and green higher post entry. Sell into weakness if you want to ride the trend. Or sell into strength if it’s extended and near BRN. Buildup supply :- price reacting negative to positive earning. Already up significan. Not respecting MA. High red bars with low green bars, failed breakouts If missed look for entry at pullback Overhead supply not valid for deep correction in very short time. Or correction for long time. Only applicable if correction is short in time and in % term. Head and shoulder from price behaviour point of view. It’s change of behaviour in a price that confirms it. When you try to get timing, reliability wont be good if you try to get reliability timing wont be good. Pattern comes when sequence is not following HH-HL LH-LL Trade management is key rather than spotting a pattern or setup. NR4/NR7 Go for simplification. Manual work, less of indicators and master the things you understand Managing scanner ans watch list Read the same thing again and try to grasp rather than just read !
