Super respectful and thoughtful insights. Good to see Petri influencing people worldwide. The revised, very new "KINGSTON WALL LIVE, Yo-talo, Tampere, Finland, 20.10.1993" recording is a good one. Hope you can find time to check it out some time offline or online. All the best for you from Finland.

If I'd known about reaction videos, I would have sent this one in 2004. Her voice is just beautiful. Whenever it comes back into my ear I just pause everything and then it's stuck in my head for a week. Haunting is how it should be described.

Ok so let’s think about the lyrics objectively. So many people seem to get the wrong impression here and it baffles me. The narrator (Kate) starts by listening to a third party wanting to experience the thrill of being a firework. The third party says they wish they could do this, but clearly they do nothing to make that a reality. At first the narrator can’t see the appeal, but because she has a different approach to life, she decides to try it anyway. It’s a song advocating an adventurous spirit. Trying things outside of you comfort zone before discrediting them. Essentially keeping an open mind.

The lyrics are also quite profound, I really recommend finding translation! Super underrated band, by its artistic value I personally would put this song on same pedestal as Meshuggah Bleed and Tool Lateralus.

The immature American giggle when pu$$y. LMAO. Killing the moment though.

It's a sad fact of life, but every now and then, a couple might grow apart as they get older and slip into complacency. They start to take each other for granted. Without meaning it one partner realises that their needs are maybe not being met in the relationship. Things have become boring for them. Routine. And there is that sweet, sweet temptation of the forbidden fruit that just keeps making eyes at them. Sometimes people succumb to that temptation. As you move into middle-age it can happen. And we shouldn't judge too harshly. Yes, it's a cluché - but clichés are clichés for a reason. This is just sometimes how human beings act. And then Colin Firth comes home, finds his wife/girlfriend cheating on him with his brother, then heads off to the south of France to rebound spectacularly with a much younger woman that he cannot, in any meaningful sense, communicate with beyond the physical. Love Actually. The mid-life crisis plot that people forget. At least Alan Rickman understood.

I ran out of patience waiting for them to actually react to the movie. Did I really want to watch a couple casually chatting instead of watching? No.

While we don't have Petri around anymore, Jukka Jylli and Sami Kuoppamäki have done long careers as professional musicians. Lots of bands are doing Kingston Wall covers these days.

Very nice album released in October 2022. Thank you Mike for your analysis on a-ha👍🏻I have a lot of respect for bands that have been touring hard for a very long time. This Norwegian band is part of it. Well done Mike for your work 👍🏻And ''stay on this road''🇨🇵🤝🏻🇺🇲🇳🇴

Talks about going on a journey (any kind) and there's no way back because you already beyond the point of no return ...and you feeling awkward dealing with society full of people who did not experience a journey like yours.

You can't show a movie uninterrupted in it's full form, it will be a copyright violation and the video will be blocked by the youtube detection software. I get it though, I get a comment like this once every few months. I know some people can't handle it.

That's for a reason. You're only allowed a few seconds of video/audio footage at a time before it becomes a copyright issue.

It's definitely not EDM, it sounds like an R&B mixed with Rock. It's a unique style that only Chester and Mike could even think of.

One of the best bands ever, and the best from Finland. Great reaction video from you to this masterpiece. Commenting on the lyrics at around 1:12 "See my future, see a dead man" - So sad to think that the composer/guitarist/singer Petri Walli died two years later after jumping from a church tower :(

No at 6:45 not sure what you are calling clean vocals I think maybe keyboard but Ben can also activate false folds and true folds at the same time and does often where he half engages both, he did not know it till he went on Kardavox Academy that teaches vocals. They have a Canadian Pop artist and a Melodic Deathcore artist give lessons and talk to artists.

Saurian's are conspiracy theory thing from America where people think Aliens that look like lizard people or live underground both floating around, and are the elite that have assumed human form. It is an insane conspiracy why would and advanced civilization give a crap in the first place if they are powerful enough they would just destroy us and take over. They would more likely be peaceful is they were to do it covertly would make more sense. Also great music knowledge seriously knowledgeable other listen to a lot, write about it, or are a musician.
