Found you on Spotify, amazing. Songs off One Two and Five Songs are some of the best stuff I've heard lately. Sharing with everyone.

Those instruments complement each other so well. Great job playing both at the same time.

You are the perfect ambassador of this tune. I played it with your video about a dozen times after learning it. Just doesn't get old, this one. And I love tunes that are so self sufficient. Thanks!

Such a soothing sound you are able to produce on the violin. I hope to play like this someday!

A fabulous tune which I've loved and played for a while - a little slower admittedly! You guys have lifted the bar.

Haunting, captivating version. Jenna's singing is as fantastic as her fiddle playing.

Beautiful.. Jenna, your tone is so incredible, it just cuts through so well on One Two. There's virtually no sibillance, it's just simply incredible. I've never heard violin sound like this, I've been listening to you nonstop since yesterday. And.. you use Helicores? May I ask.. what tension do you use? Heavy, light, medium? I think there's a yellow band at the start of the different silk colors at the peg end of the strings for light tension, and an orange band for heavy (no band for medium). I'm just wondering because.. well, haha, I actually have Helicores! They sound so much brighter and squeakier than yours! I'm also wondering if it's because you predominantly play up on the fingerboard further from the bridge.. I'm just addicted to your sound. Maybe one day I can sound like that.. haha!

Aw, thanks so much for the kind words! Yes, I use Helicore medium tension. I'm not sure exactly re: playing towards the fingerboard...probably has something to do with it. Just keep hunting around your instrument and follow your ears :)

Whoa!!! Fantastic!! Lovely exchanges. Rockin' the salt-of-the-earth! Can't stop listening... The setting, the energy, and Owen's beard reminds me of the old youtube video of Stan Rogers and company, in a kitchen, singing Barrett's Privateers (acapella). Thanks for posting.
