Just watched it. This was plain typical Disney and not really complicated, basically every story they've been telling for the last fifteen years. Kinda nice guy becomes bad guy cause he's insecure and then protagonist makes and plan and defeats bad bro, then they all live happily ever after. It honestly felt like they went 30% percent and then decided they couldn't be bothered to go any further. I miss The Lion King days when they actually made movies with love now they write script with sawdust and expect us to say it tastes like a Christmas dinner.

the more I watch these scenes the more like less evil he seems... like he actually sound like a responsible and reasonable king for his subjects who grants their wishes if he thinks it can actually be useful for the kingdom. but as soon as he denies giving people their wish he is portrayed as evil- when like giving everyone their wishes would probably make the subjects like arrogant I feel like and basically turn into Karens... like to me it makes sense for him to deny some wishes to be granted- Like honestly if you wanted him to be truly evil make him use those wishes to gain energy and power to try and control and slave his people- it's simple but will actually make him evil-

This is the best thing disney has done in such a long time! Not only is there 2d animation at least! We see pretty much all of our beloved characters. Even characters from underrated movies such as the movie "Dinosaur" This is top notch stuff! Very well done.

This felt like Disney.

All the different art styles. All the voice acting. All the different callbacks. Story telling through interactions. There was more love, passion and respect for the Walt Disney name in this 9 minute video than all of Wish. This is the Disney I grew up with. This is the Disney I remember. This is the Disney I miss.
