I just picked it up a couple of days ago from steam. For 99 cents, what a deal. I haven't had a chance to play it yet. Hopefully over the weekend. I wish more sports board games would take this route.

I don't usually watch your birthday gift vids but I'm glad I did this one. You haven't asked to bring this one down with you and now I'm on blast for letting you record it? so I'll be the bad guy if I don't?

This game isn't so hectic when you just watch it,trying to keep up with all the screen action flashs can drive you crazy when you play it...

When the game looks better than the cartoon lol! No seriously...I remember in the early days of Cartoon Network and Boomerang they actually showed episodes of the Dragon's Lair cartoon based off the first game...iirc each episode had a "if Dirk had chosen to do this" moment that showed Dirk's failure...they did not do this for the Space Ace cartoon which was based off the game of the same name.

It was done by Don Bluth, whom also was behind movies like All Dogs Go to Heaven, An American Tale, The Land Before Time, and Anastasia.

Played this one for the first time on iOS in 2012. This one has WAY too many actions to take per minute, with no room to breath until the very, very end.

Don Blueth animation scared me, mainly the earthquake scenes. There's just something terrifying about watching the earth rise and crumble like that and he captured it beautifully.

No one animates like Bluth. The facial expressions and mouth movements are unique to his style. Event the character design is all Bluth. Amazing work.

For a woman who wants Dirk to rescue her daughter, Daphne's mom sure seems to want to kill him before he can even try.

looks like the same animations as The Rescuers, All Dogs Go to Haven and Land Before Time. so cool. The saddest part of this is... knowing this sort of animation is compliantly dead and you'll never see anything new in this style because everyone that learned and could do this style are gone or too old to do it anymore. Now most everything is AI generated and boring... mannnnn.. i miss older stuff. So much more soul and love in it. So much more enjoyable and simple.
