They have been trying to tell us things for years with "shout" and "everybody wants to rule the world"
@dawnjones827 күн бұрын
Shame many sang along to "everybody wants to rule the world" without listening. it was about the war, but also... If you know what the film "1984" listen to the song again. Not long till all of our physical money is gone. Everything will be digital, therefor out out of our control. We have been slowly having our rights taken away for many years. New world order is coming.

This may have been after that awful interviewer in Australia who asked him, as the first question "Are you gay" - made your skin crawl but George, as always, was gracious and handled it briefly but, given how terrible that set up of an interview was (to get him to walk out of it for ratings) he may have decided to set these boundaries at the start of these things. That US paper headline, by the way, was totally fabricated. If they couldn't catch someone out, they just made stuff up about people

I heard this playing at the shopping centre and it's rainy today and the sun is shining. I'm a 41 yr old male just hearing this song. I really like it 😊

When did you hear it first?, back in the early 90's, or in recent times?, I remember it from then and there was a lot of other tunes all through the decade that hit the spot, last good period for authentic music lovers and artists alike imo.

As much as I love his astonishing talent - and, I do - I also so admire how intelligent, thoughtful , sensitivity and concern for others and generous he was. A true mix of everything good about being a human - giving away tens of millions of dollars to charity because he knew he didn't need it and would never spend it all. How many are doing that in his position?

kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoGyiZt_oaasask Watch the version that actually charted. This version didn't chart but it is the original version i suppose. I personally think the remix that youth did was way better. That's the one at the link above.
