I love to get out and commune with God and nature, I won't be doing it the next couple weeks though, not with the arctic blast that'll hitting us starting Sunday night. I can tolerate the snow more then the cold. We've had mild winters the last 2 years, Is here in central new york but not this year. Have a blessed day.

@@SarahS1214 soup bones can hard to find at the grocery stores, we buy our beef a quarter at a time and request that they include the bones. However we have gotten them in the past by asking at the meat counter, sometimes they have them in a freezer in the back.

I can all my garden tomatoes in the winter. I throw them in the freezer whole and then can them in January or February so I can reuse all that wonderful heat and humidity coming out of the canner to keep me cozy and warm. Today it was -22 windchill when I got up and I’m going to do a batch shortly. I bet your house smelled delicious the day you did your canning! ❤
