Hi mine has kinda same noise iv an n45 116i e87 mine has noise on cold start but not straite away just after maybe 30seconds on cold start the rattle happens stays on for like a minute and goes completly away could this be the vanos solenoid also runs tiny bit rough on cold start but runs fine after a minute of running has still all the power when driving

I have similar problems on N46 engines with these codes 2A70 , 2D07 , 2CF8 and 2A83.. It also leaks oil from valve cover gasket for the second time and we changed it 8 months ago. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? Thank you.

I did this to my own gearbox. From E39 3.0 to e53 3.0 . It's working good. But you must change the oil bath to. From e39 its small and need a bigest quantity of oil. Take from your gearbox and put on 39.and also the oil filter from the gearbox. Sorry for my english ..Hope all understend. 😊

If you don't mind me asking who do you usually use for injector service? I have an 02 that sat for a few years but is very low miles and it runs and sounds a little bit rough at idle but perfect everywhere else when driven, I was thinking about just getting all the Piezo injectors reconditioned, Any advice?

I think my F10 is having that same problem. It was running fine and then I got a Drive train malfunction and something about the low pressure fuel. The car limped and then stopped. I wanted 5 mins and it dribe fine for another 10 miles and keeps doing the same thing. I don't have a dealer close enough to take the car.
