I loved the TOG series! Kingdom of Ash took me forever to finish also but it was so good. This video was so good, loved this!

Yes, one of my new roommates is bookish! I haven't talked much to her about books, but she's been working a lot so I'm hoping on her days off, we can chat more all things books, lol. Thanks for the congrats! Honestly, I've never felt more relaxed and happy living in a house since I was a kid and lived with my family. HUGS!

I can’t afford to buy kindle books unless on sale, so what I do is add kindle books to my Amazon wishlist and a few times a month or when I have extra money, I look through the list for sales! Kindle books go on sale a lot and I have gotten a lot of books I’ve wanted for $.99, $1.99 ect

Best of luck with your new roomie! In 2025 my goal is to read and sell/donate all the books I own (only 15). They're on Kindle and hard copy. I may keep the ones I plan on rereading but most will go. Plus I want to shrink down my TBR list from 132 to 95-99. Also spend less money. I did a $.99 Kindle Unlimited trial that lasts 3 months for a total of $3. I've found a lot of books on my TBR that my library doesn't carry or my library has a waiting list for, which is awesome.

@@readknitwithcheryl I went through a clean out this year and got rid of 100+ books by reading (62 as of today) and the rest by dnf'ing or just deciding not to read them. By 2026 I hope to be down to 75 or less!

Are you type 1 or 2? My husband is type 1, diagnosed at 5 years old. He keeps Welch's fruit snacks on hand for when he goes out in case his sugar gets low.

Well, I was diagnosed over 30 years ago as a 15 year old. Because I was only 15, it was assumed I was type one, but I recently found out I was misdiagnosed and am acutally insulin dependent type 2. I am on insulin, that is never going to change, but I'm also medicated like a type 2. It's weird, but apparently it happens between the ages of 15-21 and you're kind of both types, but more like type 2.

Oh god I hate uti's. I get pain with mine. I've only had 3 in my life and they're horrible. A constant urge to pee and burning. Just be careful, they can turn into kidney or bladder infections. Sorry for using the words hate & using god in vain. I'm trying to update my language to not use certain words. Hate is such a passionate word, I need to find a better one.

Yeah, I really don't notice any pain or burning when I get them but I definitely have to pee a lot, lol. And don't worry about using those words, I have no problem with other people using them. I just try not to say them. We all have words or sayings that we say that we feel we shouldn't, so don't worry about it!

I got my shots earlier this month but I recently came down with a cold. Feeling better than I did yesterday. Feel better! I'm currently reading Spare by Prince Harry & Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult. Both are 3-4 stars so far. I recently read Princes in the Tower by Alison Weir, it was fantastic! (I love regular coke or sweet tea from mcd's, you can't beat that fountain drink feel & taste).
