2023: The musicianship and invention is beyond any question, I wonder where you are all now? - happy and healthy, I hope and enjoying whatever you are doing. Bass trombonists are thin on the ground - I hope you stuck with music. All the best from a British trumpet payer who gave up too early and still regrets it.

I played this at all state and the bass trombone part is so fun Omg, one moment I’ll never forget is blasting low F and just rattling the practice room I was in

The name of this band could be the best in progress. I swear I can't hear the difference between the 123 and 45 bands

This would easily be the top band anywhere else... but it's the second band at UNT. Unreal!

This confirms the movie is indeed as badly acted as I remember.

I liked what both trumpet players played. Both had nice sounds, good time and great musical ideas. I hope they are feature here more often.

Great section work from all parts of the band - the baritone sax making his presence felt, superb trumpet solo, and tenor sax solo - I am a great admirer of the 1.00 Lab Band but these lads are their equal. I see this is 12 years ago - I hope they all went on to happy and contended careers in music, and enhoy the success they deserved..

Is that a real drummer or recording? Because it’s so good.

That lead trumpet was first rate -perfect laying, but then you can't fault a single one of this marvellous band. I don't mean this rudely but the baritone player looked so compact you wonder how he managed to play that unwieldy sax.

Wonderful performance of this beautiful piece. I would love to have heard what Gil Evans might have done with it. Who are the Guardians, and where is this band based?
