What a talent. Loved both Winds of War and War and Remembrance mini series. What an undertaking! Probably never see another made for t.v. mini series like that ever again.

Thank you Brandon Stoddard for your kind, warm, sincere and encouraging words for Dan Curtis!! I believe they were truly heartfelt from you, and greatly received as well, in the spirit that you presented your 40th Anniversary Speech to him and It was the best one of all !!

It really upsets me, that those jealous and envious people that decide to recognize someone that sincerely doesn't deserve the adulation and praise ,that is being heaped upon them! But they will totally go out of their way to snub someone, who is extremely hard working, dedicated to the extreme, and not asking for anything, but maybe a little glimmer of hope, for some recognition, or even a little praise, on what you are working on, or have already finished, or completed! But to make someone have to wait 40 years or even more, before you even notice their achievements, or Congratulate them, is in my opinion, "EVIL IN THE EXTREME!!!"

Oh man, I remember that movie "TRILLOGY OF TERROR" with Karen Black! It totally scared the crap out of me, and Karen Black was perfect for the part!! THANKS A MILLION DAN, FOR ALL OF THE DECADES OF ENTERTAINMENT THAT YOU HAVE PROVIDED FOR ALL OF US, WITH YOUR GUT INSTINCT FOR REPEATED SMASH HIT ENTERTAINMENT!! YOU ALWAYS GET IT RIGHT, AND DON'T LISTEN TO THOSE OTHER LOSERS !! Maybe those losers had been laughing at you behind your back, but KARMA has a way of coming back! AND YOU HAD THE LAST LAUGH ON ALL OF THEM !! And I Love you for that!

Sammy's death is a badass scene, although John Rhys-Davies is clearly too well-fed to be a concentration camp prisoner.

It hurts me to know that so many people lost their lives because of the nazis. They were a cruel bunch of savages. They had no compassion or mercy or regard for human life. I hope they get the justice they deserve either in this life or the next.

Wow, to see/hear from both Dan Curtis and Herman Wouk, what a treat! Dan seemed like a really decent guy, he surely was talented. He will be sorely missed. Dan died in 2006, from a brain tumor; 20 days after his wife died!

This is very nice. My mother went to school with Polly Bergen for one year...I think it was in the sixth grade. I love the clips with Lara Parker and John Karlen, btw.
