Not an athlete but my school had an IB program which the school depended on to raise the school rating and funding. Whenever there would be any problem on campus this is basically what it looked like lol

Definitely need to chat with you regarding the 58X swap I am working on. L31 based 383 in an Express van that I want to add analog AC input to as well as retain the GM cruise control. Want to keep the 4L85E for now but convert to a 6L90E in the future. What would be best for the PCM and TCM?

is it possable to use this kit but make a hall effect sensor read a reluctor with 365 keys that would match the signal of a optispark and allow you to use the stock ecm and keep your high cam resolution it would still be cap and rotor but it should also be vastly more reliable and vastly cheaper

On the Tahoe, if you’re going to be developing canbus tech, why not use the 6L80?

The original plan was a 6L80E. After reaching out to several trusted builders, we were quoted more than $8k and 4 month lead time. The 4L80E was built by Performance Automatic Transmission Center (PATC), a long-time customer of ours, for half the price of a quality 6L80E. We feel good about the decision to use a 4L80E. As far as CAN bus module development goes for the 6L80E/6L90E applications, we have a 2WD 6L90E to play with.

@@EFIConnectionLLC wow! What kind of power are you expecting? GM performance parts sells a 6L80 that can handle 650hp, I just bought one to do a swap out on my JK for around 4200.

This sounds great. I am sure you will find a market for the swap guys of gen4's and cruise control from the ecm. I have swapped a gen 4 6l80e into a mercedes vito van and it is fantastic but everyone is saying I have to aftermarket the cruise and I dont want that. I will watch with great interest in your findings with a bcm cruise control and if you need any further data from someone else to test or try give me a yell. Im keen.
