Smooth but moves were definitely cut short in some areas, he also didn't perform fajin properly in the fast / power techniques.

Very good work, in my opinion. Decent display of skill. It felt like some moves cut a little short, compared to others performance of this sequence. But this was both artistic and martial equally balanced.

Nice twist. You working on any custom form? Do you compete wushu? I was at Cmat if you were there I totally didn't realize it.

Thanks! I don't have any custom forms yet; I compete with the compulsory forms. I didn't compete at CMAT this year because I was one of the people in charge, haha. Next year I'll definitely compete, though.

Pretty Clean! I like your pubu way better than mine. It seemed mostly one speed could just be how it looks on video but I think it would look better if there was more contrast between fast and slow. That being said I struggle with that my self.

catunderbridge we have the same style. But mine is a different in how I learned it. I was focusing on Aikido and iaido, then I tried to study Muai Thai. But later on, I was combining some movements. and this is how it goes. I hope to learn more, I think it will contribute to my discovery. Thank you for this video.

this is a modern variation. If you compare your movements to other styles you will see that they focus more on power generation.

Yes, I've been told that my form is different from the way that traditional schools teach it. I'm not sure what style of baji it is, but I learned it from a contemporary wushu school, Li's Wushu Academy.

Xiao Jia looks different then mine...but you can still see the power. What family/style baji is this? Doesn't look like Huo or Meng Cun.

Not bad at all--compulsory is a very difficult form. One thing to work on would be your front slap kicks in general--it looks like your knees are bent. Overall, needs more power and attitude in some movements, without losing the grace of Changquan. Good job--practice makes perfect! Watching wushu videos of professional athletes does wonders in teaching by example too :) Jiayo.

you have some snap, i like it. i think needs a little more power and dynamic overall; your pace is constant throughout. i have the exact same problem, and it's been with me for a looooong time. :D keep it up!
