When we were making spiritual music that meant something and you could have something to take you through your life ❤️.

When I was a little girl I would love to hear the church choir sing and was the reason I wanted to go. The Altos, sopranos, and tenors and the way they would do a 3 part harmony. And to finally watch the lifetime movie on The Clark Sisters and Momma Clark brought back memories of those times in the church! 🌹🌹🌹💞💞💞

Notice how modestly the females are dressed. None of the gaudy clothes and banana boat hats you often see now.

I remember driving from Cleveland, Ohio a few times one Summer back in the 1980s, on Sunday afternoon, just to go tp St. James' evening. I recall that they had a "church cat" that was in the lobby. It would come into the sanctuary and stay in the back, under a pew!

I was asked by our minister of music to learn this version; I can't do that!! Maybe a reasonable facsimile at best. I got her other song down pat, I can't " Lutricia-Rize "that song. RIP.

This brings back memories from the 70’s. Singing in the choir, of about 70 or 80 young adults. All praising God.🙏🏾
