Bet you were the kid with a sports card in your bmx wheel as a kid

Haha. But I didn't know such system existed back then in a country side town in Japan. Some people go this far: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnLFcoWmh79ob80 Same principle, great results!

I know there are alot of sound units on the market from several manufacturers. Some are incredibly realistic and cost big money , and some sound like crap and are $30- $45. It comes down to you get what you pay for. Tamiya of course makes the MFC unit but that's over $300 and I don't think Kyosho has brought anything to the market yet.

B.S. PILOT.....
@tisoy90910 жыл бұрын
What a lazy pilot, he should be taxiing the plane to the end of the runway so he can first fix the lousy idle he has in that plane. I do not understand why he deploy full flaps and landing gear right away before getting to the runway? But the model still looks very nice and seems very strong too :)

Hi, I'm the pilot. It may appear that I'm being lazy but I was not. I guess you're right about the flaps. I just thought I could gain lift, but now I think what I needed was more speed and better orientation into the runway. Thanks for your comment about the model. It's been a challenge for me, both constrution and flying. Yes, it's a sturdy construction per plan; maybe a little too strong.

Yeah, I think so. Next time I hope I can handle it better. But before that, I have to do a lot of repairing, or maybe build a new one.
I just checked the maker's site and it seems the wheels are called "1/10 True Ten Wheels". Just visit HPI Racing HP. Hope this helps.

Hi! The wheels are from HPI called Vintage Series. You can order from ;Rakusei Model, RC Champ, etc. Several colors available. Cheers!

How did you know? It did. But not because of too much wing loading or anything like that. Receiver battery was dead. Soon after take-off, I lost control and it crashed head on to ground, engine broken into pieces (I have the small piston on my desk). But I repaired it and it flew beautifully. My other Marutaka 1/2A planes all fly very stable and nice.

I bet you 10.00 it crashes on maiden. Pick a better plane to learn to fly with, Ive flown 1/2a fighters, not for the faint of heart, and totally not for a beginner. Nice plane, too bad itll be in pieces soon, or already.

It's sad Marutaka closed business although I didn't know the name until just three years ago when I started RC...I managed to get Mustang, Corsair, and ME109E (converted to F) of the same 1/2A series. They all fly beautifully! Don't really understand why BF109F/Gs, which are far better looking than Es, of the 1/2A size seem almost nonexistant!

Oh, sorry, more like 900g.

Thank you for your comment! The Zero has retracts (main with damper & tail) and flaps, weighs about 850g ready to fly. Oracover. It flies real great!

Thank you for your comment. Didn't expect any. I use OS 10LA on the Zero. I modified the muffler so that it stays within the cowl; it didn't work, though, for it tends to overheat and makes the slow unstable. After replacing with a normal muffler it crashed at maiden but I repaired it and eventually it flew beautifully.

I have one of the Marutaka Zeros still in its box. what engine are you using?
