The video guy has Extension Springs which are on the sides. Older doors and most people have doors with torsion springs. In both cases, it’s good to weigh the doors to get new springs, rather than trust the ones installed. With torsion springs, often there is only 1, not 2, because the installer was lazy, went cheap or just didn’t have 2 proper springs. This guy has 2 extension springs. So if you have 1 torsion, this video isn’t right for you.
@GettingItDoneRepairs3 сағат бұрын
Tonyyyy?!! I think it's apparent I'm not talking about torsion springs. Also I did weigh my doors.
@billycorbett82615 сағат бұрын
they work good for that side. but for heavier sides that hold the doors. try hammering in a golf tee and the cut off the part you can't get in. they work great. thanks Roland for the great videos on both your pages. 👍

I definitely don't recommend doing the hammer trick. I followed the instructions in this video exactly, and not only did it not work but even just lightly hammering on the wood I still put a permanent dent in the plug. Very annoying.

Thank you. I still can't understand how I let myself walk out of the dealer with something called an Easy Start on this little chainsaw. I just have it for occasional domestic yard work and use it just infrequently enough to have to resort to the University of KZbin every time to get it started. Owner's manual is useless at a whole other level. Anyways, this is best and clearest explanation i've found and I've now bulleted out your sequence here on a card, laminated it, punched a hole in it and tied it to the handle!

I used a pair of tweezers to pry under the rim and lift it a bit until I could insert straight edge screwdriver to lift the pop up. This was in a japanese soaking tub that was full of water and I did not want to have to bail or siphon it empty. But now the tub is dry I can use these methods to get it back up again and fix the problem, thank you!

I currently have two plow quads and they use Moose (On a 2003 Eiger 400) and Cycle Country (On a 2006 John Deere Buck 650) plow systems. Both of my current plow systems work great! I had another Cycle country plow that was well used and the push tubes were completely worn away on the bottom from the previous owner. When I was plowing heavy snow they failed! The whole blade and assembly pushed back into the front bumper of the 1997 sportsman 500 I was using. The push tubes turned into spaghetti noodles. Not a fault of the Country Cycle plow, due to the wear from improper use with previous owner. I was back up and running later that day after welding a bunch of scrap metal to it! I've since gotten rid of that pile of crap (Quad and plow) Don't ever buy a older used Polaris unless they are almost giving it away. That thing had so many problems.

@JGsgarage_unboxings4 күн бұрын
About 7 years ago I bought a 2004 GMC Sierra king cab, 6 foot bed with 135'000 miles for 10 grand. So I'd say not worth it. In my opinion.

There was no need for a new plug. At 5:04 the saw fired but you didn't move the switch from choke to run position. It didn't start after that because it was flooding.
@GettingItDoneRepairs9 күн бұрын
@dab. no I had the switch on the run position. I didn't choke it. I also squeezed the throttle while trying to start. My plug wasn't wet either, only built up carbon

I've watched several of your plowing videos. I applaud you for not adding a bunch of lame music. For guys like me the sound of a well oiled and maintained machine is all the music I want to hear. I actually find your videos soothing and a great way to de-stress after a shitty day at work. Keep up the good work. I would like to see how easy it is to mount and dismount the blade sometime. (Some blade manufacturers make that process a lot harder than it needs to be.)
