Thanks for saying that. This is a very common case that can happen in a daily life and Tesla managed the situation quite smoothly. Next time, I want to see how it handles even if there's a car in the left lane.

I noticed this too! FSD drives better than most human in regards to pedestrian crossings. Where I live, 80% of the drivers fail to yield at crosswalks. This being said, I noticed FSD slows down about 20% even when there is no pedestrian anywhere near. Seems too consistent to be a programmed value, I would guess v12 is not actually "end to end" a neural network.

@@DerekDavis213 That's the point of sharing both good and bad things about FSD here. It works quite well than I expected (sometime like a real human and my children didn't notice the car was driving itself). However, it is not perfect yet and one mistake can make a big deal. My Tesla FSD almost hit a car on a highway and I had to engage to break. I believe this is the way how the technology evolves and we will get there at some point while we're definitely not there yet.

That’s actually fairly normal. Especially in my rural area. I’ve been reporting some of the same errors since the first release of fsd with no improvement .

That has happened to me a couple of times. Unfortunately for FSD to be feasible it has to be perfect. It is not perfect yet, but it's definitely getting better. Hopefully soon.

@@DanielSeo I don't know about where your from, but FSD would be hard pressed to be as self-centered, easily triggered, or just plain idiotic as the drivers I come across on a daily basis.. I am very excited for the future of this and if we look at version 1 vs the latest version, we are clearing going in the right direction. Very exciting. The problem is that a lot of people who comment are driven out of some immature "Musk hating" agenda and so they wish failure on any project connected to him. I'm confident this will work and some day driver better than people. Of course there will come a day when the cars realize they don't have to take us anywhere and start running us over in mass rebellion.. But that's a problem for another day.
