It's a tumblebug! They're actually pretty destructive to vegetation... and he's a biggie!

Imagine getting lost in a weird, strangely angular cave, being blinded by lights, and then captured by a giantess who then proceeds to monologue about your experience, your life's purpose, and your potential in that order before sending you back into the great wilderness. That dipteran must’ve left that place a changed bug lol Good on you for releasing the poor little creature so that it may live on to "fighttle another fight"! Quite kind of you.

Crane fly not mosquito hawk.(harmless they do not bite) A mosquito hawk is a dragonfly. A single dragonfly can eat 100 mosquitos a day. They also hunt on the wing similar to a hawk.

I don't know how old he was. From what I recall, he was still a "puppy" when talking with the owners. You're probably right.

Yes it was a great show, this song was like the National Anthem of East Tenn., they turned the house lights on and ever soul in the house was singing it! Awesome moment! The show in Knoxville w/Dave Rawlins/Gillian Welch was equally good. And Knoxville didn't charge you $10.00 Bucks to park in the taxpayer owned city lot like J.C. did.PLUS a 25% in fees/ticket. Freedom Hall = Poor place to see a show!

>> this song was like the National Anthem of East Tenn Lol, I can see why. I guess more people have known about Johnson City, TN because of that song than there are actual residents of that city =)
