Hope you feel better soon. My family & I had covid over Christmas season, we are still having symptoms even tho its gone. So many bugs & new strains. Maybe a virus you have, so many people not feeling good at the moment it's getting concerning

Your segment on happiness touched me deeply. You articulated what I haven’t been able to about my own situation. I recognized your hopelessness/helplessness phase and also being astounded that I’m still here. Positive is a win for all of us. A very big deal. Congratulations. God is good and loves you/us very much.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been through some of the same feelings and that you’re still there. I know what that’s like. I know it sounds so cliche to say, but hang in there. Things will get better. I still have my bad days, but I also have my good too. Focusing on my kids and God has done so much for me but also focusing on small wins has got me through a lot too. Books like Atomic Habits have got me through some pretty hard times. If you haven’t read it, I’d highly recommend trying to set some small daily goals. It sounds so silly and insignificant at first but it’s helped me a lot. Sending love your way

Jamie Jamie Jamie we know you are a guy who work very hard. I will know when you’re in the right headspace you put a brilliant video but we do appreciate whatever you put out. I was here to support you but I would say take a small apartment for now what you can afford to buy until you can afford to buy the dream one you want I know it’s tough on you at the moment likewise we but I know you have the ambition And I know God is with you. Are you gonna rise again when you’re down? Dust yourself off and keep it moving and will proud of you. We are proud of you joy come in the morning your joy is coming. I would say get a small apartment for now what you can afford And make your video and put it. We will watch it.🫶🫶

I like videos like this, walking in nature and discussing important subjects. This was good. When it comes to happiness, happiness should never depend on people or jobs; we should be able to find it in daily activities. I have a husband and children, and they bring happiness to my life, but going in my garden daily, taking care of my indoor and outdoor plants, playing sudoku, or just coloring truly makes me happy. Decorating my home and just being creative makes me happy. So, I hope everyone out there finds activities that make them look forward to just living and enjoying life.
@JaneLefroy-zs7ph19 сағат бұрын
You make a good point to find happiness in daily activities - NOT your job. I would add to that that it’s important to find contentment where you are - at the stage you are at and not being consumed with wanting more right away: this does not mean we shouldn’t want more at the next phase of our lives. It’s normal to have a goal that includes ‘more’…but if we focus too much on that we won’t be content with the lessons and happiness that come from our current phase. It brings so much peace to be still and appreciative where we are. It allows us to mentally rest, remove pressures, and prepare for the next phase where we do push/hussle.

I think it’s important not to forget you past achievements. You have a lot of creative talent and you’ve been able to build something huge because of that, that’s still very real. Pivoting isn’t easy at all but you’re definitely capable of building something huge because you’ve done it before. You can use this time to fulfil all the dreams that you had as an individual, when you immerse yourself, you’ll attract so much. Sometimes we think we know the life we want but God steps in the way and shakes everything up because he knows that for us to fully receive what he has to offer, we need to lose what we identify with. Without noticing, we identify with so much and lose site of him. Sometimes, he shakes us up so that we’re sure to acknowledge him in the next phase of our life because what seems like serendipity is him making a way. We’re vessels on this earth and God has placed a talent in you for you to be able to allow him to use you, whether it’s being a wedding photographer/videographer and capturing the joy of others or concerts in which you capture the talent of others or even making videos about cars - your creative mind is a gift. If you feel lost, it’s because the path you’re walking has never been walked before, that makes you a trailblazer, forging a path that will one day inspire others. It may be slow to start but do what YOU want because you’ve been given a second chance to be authentically you. I would recommend looking up people who inspire you, photographers, musicians, artists - other creatives, study their journeys and Im sure you’ll find that they come to a crossroad of some sort too, I believe that creative people are sensitive, you sometimes have to feel deeply to transmute that into something that others can resonate with and receive. I would also recommend listening to a musician called Cleo Sol, her message is so powerful and also reading the book Mastery by Robert Greene if you ever get the chance, it’s really inspiring - you can do anything, you’ve got this! ✨

Jaime, I too went through a difficult divorce! It takes time to reinvent yourself, to rediscover who you want to be because the trauma changes you for the better I hope. You are on the right path, I’m proud of your accomplishments, and I know God will continue to bless your future endeavors and your lovely daughters! I’m praying for you ❤. I have been blessed with an amazing person, and we are getting married in April. I waited six years and the wait was worth it!

Congratulations on your up coming wedding 🎉❤️ and thank you for sharing your story with me. I’m so glad to hear that your story has a happy new beginning. You deserve it. You’re right about the trauma changing you, in my case I think it’s been a mix of for the better and the worse and I’m grateful for the positive changes, like the closeness I’ve found in my walk with God, the ability to survive things I once never thought I wasn’t strong enough to survive, the life lessons in learning to stand up for myself and know it’s ok to have boundaries but I’m also learning to turn back the clock on the ways the trauma has changed me for the worse too and I know one day I’ll be grateful for that as well and hopefully be able to help others too from what I’ve learned walking this road. Sending lots of love to you and your fiancé and wishing you both a life time of happiness Margarita.

Thanks Brooke, I’m having faith that’s what’s going to happen. There’s just so much more going on in the city for creatives and any trip to the city, even for small things becomes a whole day trip for me. I want to be able to be more flexible with coffee catch ups with different creatives and business people who I otherwise struggle to find the time to see in person and I’ve always found those in person meetings more valuable than zoom and e mail meetings. The goal is to spend a year in the city and try and set a framework towards being able to get a place for me and the kids close to their school. Hope you and the boys are having a good weekend

Yeah I had to give up my house a bit over a year ago and I’ve been here ever since. My parents have been amazing being there for us the way they have been. It’s definitely been a hard decision of trying to figure out is it too late to still try and chase some of my own dreams on the weeks the girls aren’t with me or do I just accept life down here. Eventually I’ll end up down here full time, it’s inevitable but I’ve decided to give myself a year to try and put myself first and hopefully I can stack some money for me and the kids in the process.
