Great video! Please consider using rechargable batteries like eneloop Pro or even amazon basics high capacity. I use these for underwater photography and they're great. As wildlife photographers it'd be great for us to try and do our part, however little it may seem.

What a great video that was about your property in January with the great bobcat catches. I was wondering what kind of trail camera trap you're using the 1 that you opened with 1⁄2 door and LEDS w/ readouts? That you were able to read so quickly. What a great video. I know it's so exciting every time you go and check to see what you've got. I've looked into getting the actual camera traps like you but right now I'm still gonna stick to the trail cameras.

It's been a while since I have watched some of your videos and I am really enjoying this one - especially your excitement over a skunk. I was driving in East Tennessee recently and got really excited myself when I saw a deceased armadillo on the side of the interstate. I knew they're in Middle Tennessee but this was my first time seeing them in East Tennessee. I really have to think about getting a trail cam.

It was good to see you out there a couple weeks ago. We spotted a 10 foot gator sunning himself this past Sunday in the same area the bear was.

in the summer there are several bobcats that frequent the beaver dams on my property….the bobcats would love to take a beaver….however, they look more for small ones and other rodents (muskrat, mice, etc.) smaller ones that frequent these magnificent ecosystems that are beaver ponds. In my videos, bobcats sometimes like to eat frogs!

I love how happy you get! I understand it. I had two skunks on the farm last summer. One was a blackie like your's. I didn't get sharp pics at all but enjoyed them - from a distance! Mama skunk paraded three babies finally. She had a strip. I am guessing "blackie" was the daddy.

Hello Neil, regarding EBL rechargeables, the short use time is both the batteries and your Browning trail cams. I've found that Browning cameras in particular will shut down if the battery voltage gets much below 9.6V. Because NiMh rechargeables run at 1.2V, they can't discharge very far before the Browning trail cam shuts down. So I don't use Browning trail cams, but I have been using EBLs for almost 4 years now with non-Browning trail cams. Thank you for trying rechargeables and keeping those batteries out of the dump!
