Welcome to New Nazealand. All of the food they ask you to throw away, you can buy at any grocery stores. What a joke!

Gary & Brooke, great that Gary's Mother and Sister could make the flight to Auckland. You filled that week completely and certainly all enjoyed the festivities and sights. As Thanksgiving approaches, we wish you both Safe and Happy sailing.

Groovy episode. You can't say enough about the joys of time with family and friends. Cool that you got a van and that Gary was able to customize it to your special needs. A porta potty though. I suppose it is better than the hole in the ground that I use to have to dig when I was in the Boy Scouts. LOL!

Nice vid , I live in Opua and have sailed and fished the Bay for 37 yrs as well as racing and delivering yachts in the lower pacific . You have reminded me what a wonderfull place I live in . And i am pretty sure you recorded our fleet racing out of the Opua Cruising Club I could tell by the black sails and was on one of those yachts. :)

I listened to the podcast to learn English and I heard you there and recognized by your voice😘 because there are still things that are difficult for me It's hard for me to speak in English, especially if I'm stressed And I don't know grammar at all That's why sometimes I use Google Translate because I'm afraid to write wrong

I lived in Panama in 1995- 1996 and visited the Sab Blas Islands for a long holiday over the New Year and there was a lot of trash in the water then. Some of which I was told sort of drifted there with current and would come from shore during the rainy season. Trash was much worse in Bocas del Torro.

Gus making his big debut! Sweet van! Really enjoyed twins intermittent commentary, they seem like fun crew to have aboard. I think that’s exactly what Chris and I did when his parents came on “just sit here and look pretty while we get er goin! Don’t touch anything” lol

out of curiosity: I know AGM batteries are cheaper than Lithium, but would a Lithium one not have been better, especially when considering how much more you can drain it down to 90% capacity?

Hi guys. I see you caught the boat up to the Huka Falls. The Dan off memory is the Aratiatia. They open the Dam twice a day and it's where the Hobbits escaped in the wooden barrels. Auckland is my home town, but i live 3 hrs South by road. I don't no if your heading back that way but I think if you hit Auckland Anniversary weekend you'll be impressed. The harbor & outer harbor will be sails everywhere. And, did you no that on a per capiter bases NZ'ers are the biggest boat owners in the world. Safe travels, I look forward to your next post.

They told me if you let them know where you are they nshould work anywhere providing the vender is set up for international cards and will work at any atm.. a grocery store's cc reader decline mine and when I called they though I was in FP but 30 seconds later all was correct aaaas they showed I was in Oahu and the us.
