So it needs a GPS signal to work? Why? What if you're riding through a rural area with no signal?

Shame they got rid of the airbag built in to the jacket... Yes you can wear the smart jacket but that's another layer

I’m delighted Dainese upgraded these gloves to CE Level 2 👍 Considering the growing Level 2 options (Lindstrands Bergby, various Alpinestars and Five gloves, etc.), I’m pleased Dainese caught up.

These gloves are a little-known gem from the Halvarssons sub-brand. They show that we can get pukka CE Level 2 gloves from a quality brand without paying Dainese Full Metal 7 money. Bergby gloves got a “most recommended” rating on MCGearHub, with their review concluding that “the Swedish brand has hit all the right buttons. The Lindstrands Bergby gloves prioritize protection and comfort, which is something that all CE Level 2 motorcycle gloves strive for but which not all get right. The Lindstrands Bergby gloves do get this combination right.”

I never hear the proper CE safety specs in these reviews. SHOW THE INSIDE pictogram CE LABEL, please! What's the point of the boot if it isn't safety first?

Its very frustrating - When researching jacket reviews, don't give their height & size of jacket. Many of us overseas & cant try on jackets of different sizes.

I found the waist a bit tight for the sizing stated so going up a size would be a good idea. Obviously the hip armour makes the waist a bit tighter as well. However the leg diameter fits quite well so that might be a bit baggier if you size up. I did also find the knee pads sitting a little too low when standing but they seem OK with a bent knee on the bike. The fabric is a bit thinner and softer than I expected. I always have problems getting a good fit with any trousers so maybe I’m just not an average shape! Overall they are a nice change from my armoured jeans and I like the sand colour for the summer months.

I've seen one that protected the shoulders but not the belly, now I see this one which protects the belly but not shoulders. What kind of a fkn problem do the engineers have. What are they ret*rded? They should make one the protects shoulders, chest, belly and also inflates around the neck to prevent it from moving in accidents. Is it that difficult????

Great, light weigh, packable rain jacket. I've put mine to the test many times... I wear it over my Klim Carlsbad if it's raining really heard, or just keep it in my pack, just in case. Works great over summer jackets as well for those cool mornings/evenings before it heats up. Buy the same size you wear in a regular jacket. These are meant to go over your existing jacket.

I purchased the Knox Urbane Pro Mk3 in July 2023. I’m a weekend warrior and I’ve put less than 40 hours of use on my jacket when the cuffs began to fray. I wrote the company directly as well as sending photos, to which they responded , that the frayed cuffs were a result of repeated abrasion from gloves, or likely wear from the Velcro closure on gloves. They said that they would not replace the jacket or refund my money. I was disappointed to say the least, particularly when “abrasion resistance“ is the company’s advertisement lead. Clearly, the material used at the cuffs is flimsy at best, and inconsistent with the durability of the rest of the jacket. I pride myself on taking meticulous care of my equipment, and for the company to suggest that the use of gloves on a motorcycle jacket caused this premature wear and damage is ridiculous and outrageous. These companies have a captive audience as well as regulatory capture to inflate their prices, and to advertise an abrasion resistant armored shirt that is now literally falling apart at the seams after less than 40 hours of use is shameful.

Shoulder plates are not available as a replacement in the same colour way that comes on the racing 4. Might be helpful to know if that’s something that will bother you if you would ever need to replace them.

Undoubtedly, Dainese Axial boots are among the most comfortable on the market, and the Axial protection worked for me. However, considering the price, these boots should be CE Level 2/2/2/2. The Level 1 scores are poor, particularly for boots marketed for track days. Could BikeStop please give this feedback to Dainese?

@@jackyff8 Thanks. That’s odd, but I hope it's good news. Boots do not have an overall Level 1 or 2 rating; they have individual ratings for their height, abrasion resistance, impact cut resistance, and transverse rigidity. Could BikeStop tell us the accurate CE ratings?
