Probably when the band was at its best! Sounds better than I remember.

agreed. I play euphonium. We had an little game where the goal was to go as fast as possible at the end, because with trombone, the score was easy, but absolutly not for the trumpet XD

@americaocanada1 Thanks for the entry but they are the same piece of music. I think the publishers were too lazy to print the whole title and stuck with Cortege. Taken from Wikipedia - The Redowa appears in Act 1. The Lithuanian Dance and the Indian Dance are taken from Act 2, Scene 5. The cortège is the well-known Procession of the Nobles (Russian: Шествие князей, literally, Procession of the Princes), and appears in Act 2, Scene 3.

Very, very nicely done! You obviously worked a lot on those final 16th note passages, and it paid off. Very tight. I played this piece with the Sunderland town band back in the 70s, and it served me well. Now I play with the Disneyland band in Disneyland, California. Dare to dream........

Wales has rarely been ruled by one person. As I recall Gruffudd ap Llywelyn was the last- and perhaps only- ruler of the whole shebang to be called a king. And he was actually called "king of the Britains," not the Welsh. Cymru, or Wales, traditionally was divided between the principalities (sometimes called kingdoms) of Gwynedd and Powys. Llewellyn the Great founded the independent principality in the time of King John.

I'm very sure that the sound in this band is much better than what we hear in this recording. I can imagine that the audience gets a very different experience than the viewers on You Tube :) Well played ^^

Don't ruin it by pointing that out. Seriously. When bands have fun playing stuff - someone's gonna come by ruining it by pointing out that the elite plays it better.. Seriously - you might want to think about that the next time you comment on a video. I'm not saying this to be mean or rude.
