When a massively talented and experienced artist like Scott Hoying starts off by saying Angelina is the best singer he's ever heard, well...any questions? He may not have realized it, but he instantly became an official Angel 😊. Of course, we Angels all already knew that she is the best singer extent, but we're just waiting for the rest of the world to discover what they've been missing. And despite Scott missing a few of the words (I suspect there was a lot of spontaneity and not a whole lot of rehearsal involved in this), this was absolutely beautiful. In an interview, there was a hint that further collaboration between them was being contemplated. There hasn't yet been any sign of that to my knowledge, but it would be wonderful. Thank you for your enthusiastic reactions to Angelina. Incidentally, your apreciation of the importance of lyrics is very well placed, because one of Angelina's greatest gifts is her ability to deliver the message of a song more poignantly than just about any other artist, often including the original, so lyrics are very important to her. She herself is a supremely talented lyricist, as was evident even in her earliest compositions like "Oslo", "What Is Life" and "Shield".

Although any version of Sultans of Swing by DS is good, this is the one I like the least because it is not complete, they have cut the best part: The guitar solo. If you want to enjoy this fantastic song and the genius of Mark Knopfler and the rest of the band, who are also incredible, I recommend the Alchemy live version, I'm sure you won't regret it.
