You guys should be able to afford a better camera for your recording purposes. Without a wide angle lens, he’s talking about features that we only get to see briefly. We don’t need to see him, the boat is the subject. Boston Whaler deserves better!

I LOOOOVE how you can walk out onto the bow in the newer ones. I know you had less room downstairs but it's worth the tradeoff.

I find it admirable that the person holding the camera tried to give us close-ups of the features Mr. Ackerman mentions in his walkthrough. The well established problem is that quick and jerky camera movement like this causes stress and even motion sickness for the viewer. Besides, showing us close-ups of things that we know what they look like is of little value anyway. Stay on a wide shot and let the presenter visually point out the feature by hand or using b-roll footage. I understand that many companies can't afford to hire a dedicated production company for these boat tours. But whoever in the office got the job to shoot these might want to check out a couple online filmmaking courses to polish up their valiant effort.

Thank you for the insight Henry! We've upgraded the camera gear and definitely improved on shooting techniques over the last few months. We've received feedback from both sides for our videos where one is that we show the salesman too much pointing out things, and not boat features, and of course, this vice versa. We're continuing to aim for the happy medium!

Hey Robert! In terms of total LOA the 420 Outrage would be the longest. This one clocking in at 41ft would be the better bet to go with due to the larger living quarters down below.

Usually you'd be 100% correct Lisa! In our showrooms and daily operations we always take our daily footwear off before entering any vessel! Since we don't often have the time to do that when working the Seattle Boat Show (where this video was shot) we make sure all of our teams shoes our new (like Kurts) or well cleaned before the show on top of all of them having non-marking boat shoe wear.

Love this boat. Gives me the giggles with the James Bond hidden port side docking joy stick. I won’t have to worry about any camera work I can’t afford this anyway but I enjoy checking them out. Might win the lottery one day you never know. It’s a dream. Might as well dream big

Well, we haven't "Aced" it yet ;). We're always looking for room to improve as walkthroughs are something we're starting up again! We haven't done boat walkthroughs since pre-Covid and we have a different team at the helm for creative so we're streamlining the process! We'll continue to make improvements as we go! If you need a boat go see Mark, Scott or Kurt! They're all fantastic guys. They're my personal favorite and I spent a lot of time with all three! Super honest and friendly. They'll get you in the right boat without trying to force you into something more expensive.

This is only 32 ft so definitely you could tow. Would not recommend on a regular basis. Perfect lake boat.

Honestly why does every sub 50ft boat have such a small headspace up top! They do this to make plenty of headroom downstairs but it's not like putting an extra foot on the top roof is going to kill anything else 🙈
