Best damn ARs made imo. I own 2 FN FN-15's (AR-15), a standard 16" M4 that ive modded into a RECCE type rifle and the 18" match grade sporter. Both are the most reliable, accurate and durable ARs I've ever handled. They've both been 100% reliable through well over 16,000 rds on the M4/RECCE and 12,000 rds on the match grade sporter except for a few failures to lock open on last round fired by the sporter when it was new and breaking in. Both turn sub 1/2 MOA 5-rd groups at 100 yds on occasion and sub 1 MOA practically always when fed their favorite ammo, Sig Sauer Elite 77 gr OTMs and i do my part. Both pile 5-rds of Norma tac .223 55 gr FMJs into perfectly round single .224" holes at 25 yds. And after 16k and 13k rounds respectively, both still look brand new inside. The BCG and receiver wear areas look like the typical AR with maybe 1,000 rds. Both bolt piston rings still support their carriers with 10 rds in a 30-rd mag on top. They're literally like a brand new rifle with less than 1,000 rds. Im with you. I don't understand why FNs aren't more popular. After my experience with mine I will never hesitate to buy another FN AR-15. Damn great rifles! Possibly even THE greatest.

Did you do anything about the gas issue as far as using the supressor? Is it over gassed? Did you change your gas block?
@lb.sfirearms2 күн бұрын
I did nothing for gas, not really an issue, the huxwrx does a great job, it’s not a perfect flow through but it does a really good job. Just like with any setup, I’m sure fine tuning it wouldn’t hurt but I wasn’t worried.

@lb.sfirearms2 күн бұрын
I went and checked it out last night and this are right, I thought it was one piece but it is 2 pieces. There are 2 hex screws on either side that screw in from the inside. Looks like t25, didn’t mess with them but I would assume they are red loctite. So yes, it would slim it down, probably easier to get a different optic knowing that now. I’ll have to play around and see. Maybe it is worth it to take off and slim it down.

Will say for the price point and the amoubt if abuse you can get out of those barrels are fucking insane, they use the same barrel materials they use to make the 249 and 240. Also stories out there of the barrels hardly ever needing replaced and on top of that the price point for what youre getting i think in my books you get a better deal and package, better than what DD is offering is just their quad rails. However have heard that their BCG isnt great compared to FN, Geissele, Knights, and LMT

Why the F do you have rounds in mag when doing a video. Use snap caps if you have to. The trigger itself is fine but the reset is long but I like the trigger 🤔. The reason why it’s long for safety it’s hammer fire not striker fire that is why plus the pull is light . Like a Para LDA or a H&K LEM trigger or a Walther PPX
