Great surprise to see this pop up on KZbin. I made this blanket a couple of years ago (5x4 squares) and it was a huge success. I’m in the process right now of making another one, which will be 5x5 and will make a large blanket. I’m using the Fiddlesticks Superb 8, which is my favourite acrylic DK, with a 3.75mm hook. This gives me a drapey but slightly firm fabric. Like you, I do it in batches, which saves me from constantly changing colours.
